Membership Terms

Please review these Folkway Design & Wares Co. BROWN BOX Membership Terms carefully and make sure you understand them before enrolling. They contain important information including renewal and cancellation terms. Membership is continuous and automatically renews unless you cancel or we terminate your account.

By purchasing a Membership, you agree to the terms below.

  1. A membership consists of a seasonal product box (a “Box”) and additional seasonal Boxes sent out quarterly thereafter – Winter (December), Spring (March), Summer (June), Fall (September).

If you sign up for a membership, you will be immediately billed $119.00 (for your first season’s Box) and you will receive the upcoming season’s Box in accordance with the calendar below.

Thereafter, your credit card will be charged $119.00 up to three weeks in advance every season’s Box close-out date (four times a year).

  1. Cancellation Policy. Customers may cancel at any time. In order to cancel your subscription, you must log into your Member Account, and choose Cancel. There are no cancellation fees. However, you must cancel before the billing date for the next season in order to not be charged for the next season’s Box.
  2. As a registered user of BROWN BOX, you agree to receive emails from Folkway Design & Wares Co. You may opt-out from receiving our emails by selecting to unsubscribe as may be provided in the applicable e-mail correspondence.
  3. We use a third party payment service in lieu of directly processing your credit card information. By submitting your credit card information, you grant BROWN BOX the right to store and process your information with the third party payment service, which may change from time to time; you agree that BROWN BOX will not be responsible for any failures of the third party to adequately protect such information. All financial matters regarding your information are subject to the conditions of the third party payment service provider’s terms of service. You acknowledge that we may change the third party payment service and move your information to other service providers that encrypt your information using secure socket layer technology (SSL) or other comparable security technology.
  4. Unless otherwise indicated at the time of your purchase, shipping and handling fees are included with your order. Shipping dates and/or arrival times are only estimates. For loss/damage claims, you must notify BROWN BOX within 7 days of the expected delivery date if you believe all or part of your order is missing or damaged.
  5. Once Boxes are delivered there are no returns or refunds. If an item is broken or damaged upon arrival we will work with you provide a replacement.

Replacement of products and credits to your account for shipped merchandise claimed as not received are subject to our investigation, which may include postal-service notification. We will adjust your account at our discretion. Repeated claims of undelivered merchandise may result in the cancellation of your membership.

We currently only ship to the United States. There may be additional shipping fees for Hawaii and Alaska.
